The leFH 18 howitzer was a staple of Blitzkrieg forces throughout the early war and towards the middle of the war.
While not especially suited for it, this howitzer could be pressed into an anti-tank role, and would later serve as a foundation for the development of Self Propelled Gun models that mitigated the otherwise ungainly weight in rough conditions.
